Inland Dance Theatre, Inc. (IDT) has presented Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker annually since 1976. IDT brings together over one hundred performers, from age four to professional dancers, to present the magical holiday ballet. The Nutcracker is performed at the historic California Theatre in downtown San Bernardino, California.
Each year, IDT presents The Nutcracker in special school performances. An estimated 225,000 school children from throughout the Inland Empire have attended these performances. One of IDT’s proudest achievements is presenting these children with a full-length performance of The Nutcracker and a special intermission presentation about ballet and the theater.
The Nutcracker has become a tradition for families that celebrate the holiday season with the ballet. IDT is proud to provide an opportunity for young dancers to perform in a professional quality production. IDT is delighted to celebrate the holidays with the community through performances of The Nutcracker.
